During the initial dialogue, I will ask for photos of your race-car, driver, and/or anything else you want in the piece. High-resolution, clear images of your car in action, on the track are ideal. I print these out for references as I start the outlines.
2.) Outline Proof
Before adding color and starting the final product, I send a picture of the outlines back, to ensure you're on board with the layout/direction I'm taking it. This is also to check spelling, and express any concerns.
*** If anything is unclear, or you want changes/revisions to be made, please express this now, before the final product gets underway. ***
3.) Final Product
Once you have approved of the outlines, I start the final product. I use a combination of Prismacolor® brand pencils and pens to get every detail as sharp as possible. I use Strathmore® heavy-duty art paper, as it is smooth, and durable enough to be shipped without the edges getting bent/torn easily.
4.) Finished Piece
It takes several hours to finish an original; depending on the size, color range, detail, and number of cars/elements being sketched. Please allow 1-2 weeks most of the time, as my college schedule is very demanding.
I can accept cash in person if you live in the state of Oklahoma, or PayPal online if it must be shipped. PayPal sends an automated invoice in the form of an email or text with a link to login, and make the transaction.
** All personal checks should be made out to Joseph Perry. **
Drawings are shipped in a sealed plastic sleeve inside of a preferably thick/cardboard envelope for the most protection during shipping.
7.) Share / Display!
Occasionally, I record time-lapse videos while sketching, and feature them on the Joey Perry Arts social media channels (with your consent). Feel free to share your experience with friends/family, and keep the page growing!
